Tangled Feet met twenty years ago, aged 20. We’re all about to turn 40, we’ve been creating theatre together for half our lives. To mark the moment, we’re asking some big questions and have brought in help.

In Half Life, Tangled Feet are joined by a unique company of 10, 20 and 80-year-olds, to wrestle with the nature of time passing. Asking: how does our perspective change as we age? How do we cope when we don’t know what’s coming next? What do we hold onto? What do we let go?

Join us to find some answers, ask more questions and celebrate the wisdom we can share at any age.

Half Life has been co-commissioned by The Albany, Stockton ARC and the Gulbenkian, Canterbury.

The show premiered in October as part of the Albany’s Festival of Creative Aging, Age Against The Machine.

Reviews & Press

‘Half Life’ had so much to offer and was such a brilliant blueprint that brought community members together who would ordinarily never cross paths. You can sense how uplifting it was for all for them and I’m sure this will continue to flourish in its future. Sometimes you need a break and rediscover the fact that humans, particularly when they come together, are joyful creatures.
