We believe everyone has a creative side, and that developing and nurturing our creativity is a life-long endeavour which brings meaning and purpose to our lives.
Developing Creativity
We are passionate about helping people discover and develop their creativity – from childhood through to older age. We often work with people over a period of years – from school into their working life – to develop and support their creative progression.
Working with schools and colleges
We work with young people inside schools, colleges and universities, supporting and extending the creative curriculum in a variety of ways and giving young people the experience of working alongside professional artists.
Shows in schools
At Tangled Feet we really enjoy visiting schools and connecting our work with the fantastic imaginations of children. We create all of our performances for young people with adaptable and easily mountable designs and portable sound and lighting rigs, meaning the performance in the school can have the same high production values as in a theatre.
Supporting artists, mentoring and partnerships
We support young people who might be considering a career in theatre, and artists in the early years of their careers in a number of ways, through mentoring, internships and bespoke programmes. We also support more established artists and freelancers to develop their practice and networks and to continue building their skills.
