We support young people who might be considering a career in theatre, and artists in the early years of their careers in a number of ways, through mentoring, internships and bespoke programmes. We also support more established artists and freelancers to develop their practice and networks and to continue building their skills.

Tangled Feet recognises that artists need collaborators, networks and support frameworks.
We create tailored talent development routes for young people that we meet, giving them support and paid development opportunities in the early rungs of their careers.
We mentor artists and ensemble companies to help them map the next steps and build solid foundations, and we collaborate across our creative sector with other artist-led companies to share resources, strengthen connections and share best practice.
In our home of Luton and across Bedfordshire, we work with other organisations and individuals with the aim of shaping a creative ecology that is fair, diverse, and where artists and creativity can flourish.
